 Pictures: Yours Truly larkin' around

For our Christmas fashion shoot – ‘Criminal Records’ - I was inspired by an internet movement called ‘Sleeveface.’ It’s a group of amateur pics you’ll find on Flickr, Facebook and at Sleeveface.com of people posing with record covers. Now, here at JetAway Towers we’re aware of the hugely boring Credit Crunch. So, wanting to save pennies for our celeb interviews and glossy covers we decided to do a bit of multi-tasking when it came to the models. We figured we wouldn’t be seeing their faces so, what the hell! I sheepishly hovered around the IT desk and asked what it would take for our buff, footie-playing web guy to play supermodel for the day. Not much, as it turns out. Then I signed up for 24 hours of starvation and agreed to be a ‘model’ too. That’s what kind of editor/exhibitionist I am! Needless to say that Kate Moss needn’t worry about her job anytime soon. But did I love it? Absolutely! I even managed a strop. After wrapping the final shot, we celebrated with a giant pizza and I stuffed myself. Seconds later the photographer asked to shoot a few last pictures. My belly was now the size of a melon so I refused. Viva the Diva!
